On Sunday Oct 14th 2007 we held the C And J Reeve trophy.
There were 18 entries. The winners were Pam Kerr, Michael Shaw And Ted Sparrow with 9 Points. The runners up with 8 Points were Mary Ellis-Hawkins, Tony Schofield and David Thomas. Some of the Lady members supplied refreshments at half time.
Sun Nov 18th 2007 we Held the Memorial trophy. 18, players turned out once more.
The Winners this time with 10 points were Pam Shaw, Michael Shaw And Ted Sparrow. The Runners up with 6 points were Doris Chappell, Les Hewson And Alan Walker. Our Ladies once more supplied Refreshments.
Sunday.Dec 9th 2007. We held the last Sunday Competition of the year which was the R And M Barr Trophy. This was well supported once more with 18 entries.The winners this time being Doris Chappell Grace Hewson and Ted Sparrow with 8 points. The Runners up were Mary Ellis-Hawkins, Liz Spilman and Michael Shaw with 7 points. Once More the Ladies provided very good refreshments at Half Time.
Sun Jan 13th 2008. This was the the first Sunday Competition of the year which was the Halifax Trophy. We Originally had 22 entries for this competition, but due to ill health we had to settle for 15 entries. The winners this time with 6 points and 42 shots were Les Hewson, Pam Shaw And Ted Sparrow. The runners up with 6 points and 31 shots were Dave Baldock, Gavin and Teresa Goodman. The ladies once more providing the refreshments for which our chairman Alan Walker thanked them.All the competitions have been well supported this year.

On Sun Jan 27th, South Kelsey Indoor bowls club held an invitation day.There were 12 teams competing from various clubs.Every team had 5 games, and there was some very good bowling.The winners were a team from South Kelsey Of E.Sparrow.G.Hewson and L.Hewson. with 10 points and 39 shots.The Runners up were a Barnetby team Of A.Atkin B.Dring and K.Dring. With 10 Points and 34 shots.
As usual there was a very good spread of food supplied by the members.
There was a good Tombola which sold out, Also a meat board with a first prize of a joint of beef silverside and second prize sausages,This also sold out. The raffle was also well supported.Everybody said they had a very enjoyable day.
The Winners and runners up were announced by the Chairman Alan Walker, and presented by the treasurer David Thomas.
