Something you should be aware of.

On most web sites including this one, you may well find a E-Mail contact link or button, you should be aware that once you click such command, your computer will immediately access your default E-mail resource, this will be either outlook express send, [if defaulted] or your server [ISP] mail box, send, page, [ if defaulted]

We have been asked how this effects AOL and other server systems, the simple answer to this, is, do not be concerned, because your computer mail default is already installed, and will access only your mail send protocol, the address is already inserted, just put suitable subject code info, complete the text box section and send, no obvious risk is involved in this protocol that we are aware of,

About Outlook Express

It is advised only that you go into properties box and disable “open the inbox” when outlook starts up, disable automatic receive mail, and make manual only, the reason being, if your on broadband, your computer may go on broadband at bootup, and stay on line unless you switch off the modem, so, to avoid receiving mail here with lots of potentially dangerous spam, one needs to be aware of the danger of accidentally opening outlook, in case it receives lots of unwanted mail, best filtered out first at your mail inbox at your server ISP home mail page,

If you use outlook, this is quite risky, if lots of unwanted spam is received, spam often contains self extracting or self executing malware, or virus, etc,  we now use server based mail box were all mail is carefully covered by server spy and anty-virus security software of the highest order, also these server mail box’s work very much the same as outlook, but here, you can read in safety, [most of the time] both spam, and genuine mail, most providers now offer, excellent spam guard filters, these redirect this type of mail to a junk or spam folder, and now offer over 90% accuracy, based on experience, we only, can, advise you to use such an account, or if you don’t got one, open one, its free generally on all server sites, NOTE if you decide to change your mail box type or address, don’t forget to copy all your address book entries into your new account, then, mail all your friends to let them know your change, immediately, so they can change their address book entry for your new mail address, [update]

We now use a new mail box, this alerts us of all new mail, as it arrives, speeding up replies,
