ICON COLOURS : Info
In today’s modern world, and for some years now, the computer has lacked a basic need, that of the ability to change the colour of folders, so here, we can tell you how to do this, I use two ways, one of which while it works fine, and is simple to use, violates the windows syntax system, but does work fine, it extends slightly the resources of windows, and applies in this info page, as guidance only, we have not tried the colour change protocols in other windows platforms, so cant advise, but windows XP has the protocol built in, under, folders or icons customize syntax,
Before we start, we should create a new folder, we will call it “ICON 1” to simplify the steps, we use to change a folder colour, place this folder in your “my documents” folder so you can find it easily in the selections in the customize procedure, which follows:
ICO file type only [PART ONE]
Some examples made here in a free program, with all the controls to both edit or create your own personal icons or folders, using the ICO file type, 16-24-32Bit, true colour, etc, 16x16pxl upwards, all the tools to add and manipulate the creation of any type of icon, and size,
